As the Queer Politics Advisory Service within the AStA, our focus is on the concerns and interests of LGBTQ+ students. This means we provide advisory services such as consultation hours. We work together with university bodies such as the Office for Diversity and Equal Opportunities, as well as self-organised groups – and in the case of the latter, we also campaign to ensure their continued existence and support them. Anyone interested can also contact us for information on further education opportunities. Whether you need to have your preferred name registered at the university or have experienced discrimination from fellow students or teaching staff, we are here to support you.
